Northbrook Bluehawks to Offer Free Hockey Lesson

On Saturday, November 2nd, from 4:10 to 5:10 p.m., the Northbrook Bluehawks hockey organization will sponsor a free hockey lesson for boys and girls ages three to nine at the Northbrook Sports Center (1730 Pfingsten Road in Northbrook). Northbrook Bluehawks hockey coaching staff, as well as Glenbrook North coaching staff and players will be present to provide on-ice instruction to children who are considering learning to skate and play hockey. All participants will receive a free hockey stick!

This event has been a Bluehawks tradition for the last seven years, with as many as 100 participants attending each event. Many of the Northbrook Bluehawks’ current players were introduced to the sport of hockey for the very first time at previous free hockey lessons.

Registration forms can be downloaded from the Bluehawks’ Web site at http://www.NorthbrookBluehawks.org. Contact Jill Rabin at 773-720-3051 or jillrabin@NorthbrookBluehawks.org with any questions.
