On a cold but dry afternoon, the GBN JV Boys tennis team was finally able to play a match. Three matches and a tournament have been cancelled due to the weather in the past week but the boys were good and ready to play today. Using a combination of keen strategy with precision placement, all of the courts decisively won their matches. Results include singles winners Jason Myers 7-6, 6-3; Jordan Wolken 6-2, 6-2; and Varun Gupta 6-1, 6-3. Doubles team winners were Ethan Handler and Scotty Crawford 6-4, 6-3; Adam Sak and Daniel Kole 6-1, 6-3; Jorie Nathan and Brian Kim 6-4, 2-6, 11-9; and Ki-Deok Park and Eubene Sin 6-2, 6-1. With the win at Evanston, their record this season is 2-1. Next up: Wednesday, April 17th home vs. Warren Township High School at 4:30.
