Cause ‘N Effect

Make It Better magazine is partnering with Northbrook Court for Cause ‘N Effect, an event celebrating nine local female philanthropists and the charities to which they dedicate their time and efforts.   

The event will feature music, cocktails, appetizers and a silent auction featuring high-fashion items such as a Louis Vuitton clutch, Stuart Weitzman shoes, Gucci sunglasses and much more.  All proceeds and money raised from the auction will benefit the nine charities involved. 

Charla Krupp has signed on as the official guest host.  Originally from the North Shore, Charla is the best-selling author of How To Never Look Fat Again: Over 1,000 Ways to Dress Thinner Without Dieting, which spent many weeks on the New York Times best-seller list.  Attendees will receive a complimentary paperback version of the book, as well as a gift bag filled with items and offers from participating Northbrook Court retailers.

Cause ‘N Effect will take place from 6-8 p.m. and will be held on the lower level of the shopping center near Neiman Marcus.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
