Congregation Beth Shalom Hosts JUF Event Featuring Middle East Analyst Jonathan Schanzer
Congregation Beth Shalom hosts a brunch supporting the 2012 Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund.
The event will feature Jonathan Schanzer, Middle East analyst, vice president of research for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the author of “Hamas vs. Fatah: The Struggle for Palestine,” the only book on the market that chronicles the Palestinian civil war. Previously, he served as a counterterrorism analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
The event is provided by provided by the Men’s Club and co-chaired by Jill and Brian Carter, Marisa and Steven Mandrea, and Jill and Les Olefsky, all of Northbrook.
