District 30's Education Foundation Welcomes All to Celebrate the Arts on April 29

Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 Education Foundation invites community members to "Celebrate the Arts" with Claude and Camille - A Novel of Monet, which will feature book dramatist Barbara Rinella. The event will be held from 7:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Sunset Ridge Country Club.

In addition, there will be lite fare to complement wine tasting, music and a silent art auction which will include Impressionist art from the Art Post Gallery in Glenview. Music will be provided by District 30 music teachers Bill Vaananen and Kurt Barker. Invitations have been mailed to District 30 residents.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:  7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.,Wine Tasting and Lite Fare; 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Barbara Rinella's dramatization of Claude and Camille - A Novel of Monet; and 9:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Wine/Coffee/Desserts.

The cost is $50 per person ($60 at the door), and is $25 per person for teachers and staff members.
Responses are due by April 22, 2011.  Checks should be made payable to the Northbrook/Glenview School District 30 Education Foundation. Proceeds will benefit current Foundation Technology Initiatives at Wescott, Willowbrook and Maple School. The schools' technology theme is "Children Connected Through Computing."
