Temple Beth-El Mitzvah Day

A day that unites the community, young and young at heart, in Tikkun Olam (Repair of the World).  It's hard to heal the whole world in a day, but it never hurts to try.  Give your time, energy and talent to participate in a variety of Mitzvot to assist the community and individuals around us.  Activities include decorating flower pots and plant a beautiful plant for the residents in CJE housing facilities, create special eye glass holders and donate glasses to assist others, create a mezuzah to benefit clients of EZRA and many other activities.  Also, come learn about Bal Tashchit (do not waste). Reduce, resue and recyle through fun activities. A container will be available to recyle your electronics, light bulbs and batteries.   A picnic and other activities will follow for all participants.
