The Party Dress Project tm was started in 2009 by Stacy Simpson and Beth Hirshman and their teenage children. The hope is to see beautiful dresses being used again, to allow girls to add to their party wardrobes without spending a lot of money and to benefit local teenage girls. The Party Dress Project is a 501(c)3 organization.  In its short history the Project has given over $20,000 to area charities.

The Project collects gently worn, teen party dresses from Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Confirmations, Dance Classes, Graduations, Dances, etc.  At the one day Boutique, each dress is sold for only $25. The Party Dress Project Boutique will be held on Sunday, October 14th from 9:00-4:00. Autohaus on Edens at 1600 Frontage Rd, Northbrook has donated the Mercedes dealership space for the event.  The Boutique is a lively event including dress trying and buying, refreshments and exciting raffle prizes. All proceeds from this year’s sale will be contributed to Willow House.
