Zengeler Cleaners Recognized For Long Grove Store Plant Design

New Long store earns “Outstanding Plant On Premise” award for 2011

Northbrook, IL, February 14, 2012:  Zengeler Cleaners, the nation’s oldest family-owned and operated cleaner, recently received the “Outstanding Plant On-Premise” award from American Dry Cleaner.  The recognition was earned thanks to the company’s new, 3,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Long Grove, Illinois.  The “Outstanding Plant On-Premise” is one of a series of awards given by American Dry Cleaner, one of the fabricare industry’s leading publications.

Zengeler Cleaners’ Long Grove store, opened in the spring of 2011, is a full-service operation featuring the very latest technology in cleaning and customer service.  Customers entering the store are greeted by Zengeler’s’ friendly, knowledgeable employees in spacious, comfortable surroundings.  For those who can’t make it during normal business hours, the store features 24/7/365 capability for drop off and pick-up with an easy-to-use, fully-automated kiosk service.

“Our new 24-hour service is perhaps the most popular feature of our new store,” said Tom Zengeler, President of the family-owned and operated business.  “We surveyed our customers before building the Long Grove store and time after time, their message was simple:  they put a premium on convenience, and expected us to build a facility that respected the environment.  Our Long Grove store delivers in both areas, with the  automated kiosk service exceeding most expectations.”
