Glencoe's biggest garden welcomed its millionth visitor on Monday.

For the first time in Botanic Gardens' 41-year history, the Glencoe destination attracted more than one million visitors in a calendar year, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The million dollar goal almost snuck by. The milestone was reached on Monday, Dec. 31ABC reports.
