Northbrook Bank and Trust Company Announces Promotions

Northbrook, IL – April 15, 2013

The Board of Directors of Northbrook Bank & Trust approved the following promotions: Jeffrey Thoelecke, President, Northview Bank & Trust; Mike Abruzzini, Executive Vice President, Retail Banking; James King, Senior Vice President, Retail Banking.

Mike Abruzzini is an MBA graduate of Depaul University and has been with Northbrook Bank & Trust since 2004. His previous bank experience includes Continental Bank and First Chicago/Bank One. As the Executive Vice President, he will be responsible for the Retail Banking Administration of Northbrook Bank’s 16 locations. 

James King holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and has been with Northbrook Bank & Trust since 2009 as the Bank’s Community Lender. His previous banking experience spans more than 30 years from various positions held at both national and community banks. As the Senior Vice President of the bank’s retail operations, he will be responsible for daily operations at the main office located at 1100 Waukegan Road as well as the branches located at 875 Sanders Road and 660 Deerfield Road.

Jeffrey Thoelecke is a graduate of Miami University (Business Administration-Finance) and has been with Northview Bank & Trust since 1995 as a member of the bank’s Commercial Lending team. He has nearly 25 years of banking experience that includes previous positions with Affiliated Banc Group and Boulevard Bank, N.A. With his new promotion to President, his responsibilities will expand beyond managing the Northview Commercial Lending team and will involve all aspects of customer relations, new business development and community involvement.
