What Makes a Good Corporate Citizen in Northbrook?

The mailbox fury at Meadow Shopping Plaza has started me thinking about what makes a good corporate citizen in Northbrook. Which businesses do you think are the best corporate citizens and why?

Finally, passion and fire have been ignited amongst the residents in Northbrook. It is all because the drive-through mailbox at the Meadow Shopping Plaza was removed.

If you have been following Karie Angell Luc’s columns in the Northbrook Star, then you understand what I am talking about.

In Luc's original Northbrook Star article, Jay Pollak, attorney for Jay Heitman, owner of Meadow Shopping Plaza, made an interesting comment.

“(Heitman’s)... a corporate citizen and he’s a damn good one,” Pollak told Luc.

This comment brings some questions to mind about what makes a good corporate citizen. I’d love to hear your thoughts about that.

And, while you are posting your comments, tell me which businesses you think are the best corporate citizens in Northbrook, and why?
