Congratulations, NBJH grads!
Congratulations to the 195 NBJH students who received their diplomas during graduation on June 3!
Board President Elizabeth Hall, Superintendent Larry Hewitt, and Principal Scott Meek addressed the students. They acknowledged the families and District 28 staff members in attendance and shared their perspective on this milestone. Hall also introduced the 2014 Homer O. Harvey Scholarship winners.
The ceremony also included reflections from three members of the Class of 2014: “Fast Trains” by Mary Shults, “Your Canvas” by Rachel Patris, and “Breaking Up with Junior High” by Lucia Bosacoma.
