Northbrook's Willard Galliart Died Thursday, Visitation Tuesday

Galliart, 75, was a professor at schools such as Northwestern University, University of Illinois and University of Michigan.

Willard H. Galliart, 75, of Northbrook, formerly of Wilmette, passed away October 18, 2012.

He graduated from the University of Iowa with highest honors and went on to receive his M.S. and Ph. D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Willard became a Certified Public Accountant in 1960 working for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells and Price Waterhouse & Co. in Chicago.

Dr. Galliart served as President of Beta Alpha Psi Fraternity from 1997-1998. Professor Galliart taught at Loyola University, University of Michigan, Northwestern University, Bowling Green State University and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Beloved husband of Connie; loving father of Ben, Elysia (David) Garcia and Kile (Ashley); cherished grandfather of Avery and Nicolas Garcia and Brighton Galliart; dear brother of Marilyn Dale and Wesley Galliart.

A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Kelley & Spalding Funeral HomeHighland Park.

Interment private.
