Northbrook Lawyer Elected to Illinois State Bar Association Board of Governors

Anna P. Krolikowska, a partner in the Northbrook law firm of K & R Family Legal Services, L.L.P., has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association for a three-year term.

The 27-member Board of Governors oversees the operations and management of ISBA, subject to policies set by the 201-member Assembly. 

A member of the ISBA Assembly since 2009, Krolikowska has been active on several committees including General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section Council and the Young Lawyers Division. She is the immediate past president of the North Suburban Bar Association and a member of the Advocates Society, the Justinian Society, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Since 2007, she has volunteered with the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation and in 2008 received its Service Award.

She is an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and teaches an advanced family law seminar. 

Krolikowska received her law degree in 2006 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her undergraduate degree in political science and international studies in 2003 from Loyola University Chicago.
