$4.2K Bracelet Theft Caught On Tape

The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and do not guarantee guilt.

Retail Theft
On Dec. 23, an employee at Northbrook Court reported a diamond bracelet valued at $4,200 was missing, according to police. Reviewing the store video from showed two men and a woman approach the jewelry counter that day, police say.

While the female had asked for help removing a bracelet she tried on, one of the men put his jacket on the counter, reached under the jacket and grabbed the stolen bracelet from an open display case, according to the police report.

Suspended Licence
On Dec. 31, officers arrested Yovanny A. Delarosa, 24, of Prospect Heights, for driving with a suspended licence, accoridng to police. Delarosa was arrested after an accident near the 4000 block of Commercial Avenue, police say.
