87-Year-Old Woman Charged With Retail Theft

A Glenview woman was charged with retail theft after taking about $35 worth of tiems from a business on Church Street.

Retail Theft

On April 30, Elaine Stein, 87, of Glenview, was charged with retail theft after attempted to take $35 worth of items from a business on the 1100 block of Church Street, according to police.

On April 28, a Macy’s employee was showing engagement rings to a male customer, when he ran out the store holding two rings worth a combined $7,639.00, according to police. 

Drug Possession

On May 2, Paul Kotelov, 48, of Highland Park, was charged with possession of cannabis after officers saw him smoking marijuana in a parking lot at Somme Woods, according to police.
