Blotter: 2 Arrests in Narcotics Investigation; Burglary on Voltz

Narcotics Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

Mark Lee Tribble, 20, and Elliott M. Tucker, 19, both of Northbrook, were arrested during a narcotics investigation in the 800 block of Bach Street Tuesday, Feb. 28, according to . Tribble was charged with possession of 10-30 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, delivery of 2.5 to 10 grams of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Tucker was charged with unlawful delivery of cannabis.

Battery Charge in Driving Altercation

Steven Glassman, 60, of Riverwoods, was charged with battery after he allegedly pushed someone to the ground during a driving altercation in the 3100 block of Dundee Road Wednesday, Feb. 29, according to police.

A 48-year-old woman from Buffalo Grove was charged with battery after she allegedly showed up at a Northbrook home uninvited, got in a verbal argument and slapped the resident, Friday, March 2, according to police. 

DUI Warrant Arrest

Jonathon J. Soens, 24, of Lake Villa, was stopped for speeding and arrested at Dundee and Lee roads Monday, Feb. 27, on an outstanding Lake County warrant for driving under the influence, according to police.

Teens Charged With Possession of Cannabis, Underage Drinking

Adam J. Witt, 18, and Alexander J. Ricciardi, 18, both of Northbrook, were charged with possession of cannabis and consumption of alcohol by a minor during a traffic stop at Waukegan Road and Founders Drive Saturday, March 3, police reported. Ricciardi was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Car Accident Results in Arrest

A 17-year-old boy from Chicago was charged with failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving with a suspended license after he was involved in a car accident at Dundee Road and Skokie Boulevard Saturday, March 3, police reported.

Burglary on Voltz Road

Someone ransacked the bedroom of a home in the 200 block of Voltz road sometime just before midnight Friday, March 2, taking jewelry, a VCR, camera and tapes, according to police. 

Possession of Cannabis

A 17-year-old boy from Northbrook was issued a ticket for possession of cannabis when police found marijuana in the center console of his vehicle during a traffic stop at Greenview and Techny roads Wednesday, Feb. 29, police reported.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Zachary S. Kimmell, 19, of Racine, WI, was issued a ticket for possession of cannabis paraphernalia during a traffic stop at Dundee and Lee roads Monday, Feb. 27, police reported.

Driving Without a Valid License

Manuel Medina-Diego, 38, of Prospect Heights, was stopped for a traffic violation Monday, Feb. 27, at Pfingsten and Brindle roads. He was charged with improper lane usage and driving without a valid license, police reported. 

Retail Theft at Whole Foods

Artur Dodwalski, 32, of Mount Prospect, was issued a ticket for retail theft after he was allegedly seen taking items from the shelf at Whole Foods Sunday, Feb. 26, and hiding them in his jacket and down his pants, according to police. The value of the items was $86.87.  

Stolen Debit Card

A debit card was stolen from an unlocked vehicle and used to make two unauthorized purchases at gas stations in the 3100 block of Dundee Road Thursday, March 1, according to police. 

Thefts at GBN

An iPhone 4 was stolen from an unlocked gym locker at Glenbrook North between 7:40 and 9:13 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, police reported.

An iPod was taken from the counter in the fitness center at Glenbrook North Tuesday, Feb. 28, according to police.

Someone took glasses and a wallet containing a debit card, $20 and ID from a backpack inside an unlocked locker at Glenbrook North on Friday, March 2, police reported. 

Occupy Wall Street Comes to Northbrook

Graffiti related to the Occupy Wall Street Movement was found on several telephone poles around Church Street and Walters Road Saturday, March 3, according to police.

Wallet Stolen at the Y

A wallet containing $200, IDs and cards was stolen from a gym bag at the YMCA Friday, March 2, according to police. 

Wallet Stolen at Northbrook Court

A wallet containing an ID, driving permit, debit card, insurance cards and $380 in cash was stolen from an unsecured locker in the employee locker room of Claire’s Boutique at Northbrook Court Saturday, March 3, police reported. 

Fencing on Willow Damaged

Someone damaged approximately 500 feet of fencing in the 2400 block of Willow Road, according to police.
