EMPLOYEE STEALS CLOTHES
Debra Smith, 40, of Chicago was arrested at Thursday, June 30 by police after the Nordstrom employee allegedly removed two pairs of jeans valued at $180 from the store and placed them in her car.

EMPTY BEER KEGS STOLEN
According to police, a power washer and two empty beer kegs were stolen around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26 in the 1000 block of Willow Road. The loss is estimated at $260.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Erwin S. Drechsler, 61, of Winnetka, was arrested at Waukegan Road and Lindenwood Lane Monday, June 27, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI), DUI over .08 and improper lane usage.
Young H. Minegishi, 51, of Glenview, was arrested in the 2700 block of Dundee Road Monday, June 27, and charged with DUI, DUI over .08 and improper lane usage.
THEFT ARREST
Edgar Burgos, 38, of Chicago, was arrested for theft Friday, July 1 in the 3000 block of Commercial Avenue, police said.
WARRANT FOR FORGERY
Mohammad M. Amjadi, of Northbrook was arrested in the 2500 block of Oak Ave. Tuesday, June 28 on a Cook County Sheriff warrant for forgery, police said.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
Police issued citations for possession of marijuana to two 15-year-old boys from Glenview Thursday, June 30 at . One boy also received a citation for possession of paraphernalia.
According to police, three men were arrested Wednesday, June 29 at the intersection of Illinois Road and Anets Drive after an officer stopped their car and noticed a strong smell of marijuana. David S. Levin, 21, of Northbrook and Armando Veljko Santilli, 20, of Long Grove were charged with possession of marijuana and Iuliu Nicolae Varciag, 20, of Northbrook was charged with possession of paraphernalia.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
A 15-year-old Glenview boy was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor after allegedly running from a police officer Friday, July 1 at the Velodrome.
Rachel C. Varney, 19 Arun M. Surath, 18, both of Glenview, were issued citations for consumption of alcohol by a minor Friday, July 1 at Landwehr and Willow Roads after the car they were in was stopped for a traffic violation, police said.
DRIVING WITH A REVOKED LICENSE
Jason R. Bucar, 31, of Northbrook, was arrested on Walters Avenue Thursday, June 30, and charged with driving with a revoked license, according to police.
DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE
Darleen Caldwell, 39, of Northbrook, was arrested in the 3300 block of Dundee Road Wednesday, June 29, and charged with driving with an expired registration, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license and failure to signal, police said.
Michael J. Arnieri, 50, of Schaumburg, was arrested in the 600 block of Dundee Road Wednesday, June 29, and charged with operation of unsafe vehicle equipment and driving with a suspended license, police said.
IDENTITY THEFT
A resident of White Pine Drive reported Monday, June 27 that he received a letter from a collection agency regarding a past due balance of $1,200 for a rapid refund pay day loan from 2008 against his tax return for the year 2007 that was filed with Jackson Hewitt of Hawthorn, Calif. He reported he never had Jackson Hewitt prepare his tax return and never received a $1,200 check, police said.
RETAIL THEFT
According to police, a pair of $640 sunglasses were stolen from Wednesday, June 29 by a Caucasian woman with brown hair wearing a sleeveless top and tan shorts.
BIKE STOLEN
A blue and yellow Schinn Aerostar bicycle worth $149.99 was reported stolen Friday, July 1 from the playground at , police said.
IPAD STOLEN FROM CAR
According to police, the passenger window of a car parked in the 4000 block of Lake Cook Road was smashed between 7 and 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 and a pair of bags containing an iPad, an iPod and two ThinkPad laptops were stolen.
