Felony Aggravated Driving Under the Influence

William J. Kennedy, 47, of Deerfield, was stopped for a traffic violation, arrested and charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence and improper lane usage in the 600 block of Waukegan Road Saturday, April 7, according to .

Woman Struck in Head During Domestic Battery

A 20-year-old Northbrook man was arrested and charged with domestic battery after he allegedly hit a woman multiple times, including in the back of her head, according to police. The woman did not require medical treatment.

Driving With A Suspended License

Ayesha K. Muhammad, 31, of Chicago Ridge, was stopped for a traffic violation, arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and making an improper lane change at Dundee and Pfingsten roads Sunday, April 1, according to police.

Alberto Cruz, 31, was stopped for a traffic violation, arrested, and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without a rear taillight Monday, April 2, at Dundee Road and Cotswold Way, police reported. He was also issued a ticket for possession of cannabis.

Benjamin A. Drake, 26, of Northbrook, was stopped for a traffic violation, arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with expired registration Monday, April 2, at Dundee and Shermer roads, according to police.

Jamie S. Sartin, 33, of Highwood, was arrested Tuesday, April 3, at Dundee Road and Skokie Boulevard, and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving with expired registration, police reported.

Fernando Zarate Jr., 18, of Prospect Heights, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and failing to yield when exiting a driveway after he was involved in a car accident at Dundee Road and Skokie Boulevard Sunday, April 8, according to police.

Driving With a Revoked License

Lino V. Sanchez, 60, of Mount Prospect, was arrested Thursday, April 5, at Techny Road and Founders Drive and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with expired registration, according to police.

Four Teens Charged With Possession of Cannabis

Three 17-year-old boys and one 16-year-old girl, all from Northbrook, were issued tickets for possession of cannabis Friday, April 6, after they were seen entering a vacant house in the 1800 block of Heather Court, police reported.

Retail Theft at Northbrook Court, Marshall’s

Morgan E. Chestnut, 19, of Bannockburn, was arrested and charged with retail theft Wednesday, April 4, after he allegedly took five pieces of merchandise worth $180.97 from the Abercrombie & Fitch store at Northbrook Court where he was employed, according to police.

An unidentified man bought two bags worth $2,987.35 at the Louis Vuitton at Northbrook Court, Wednesday, April 4, then took a $720 pair of sunglasses, put them in his pocket and left the store without paying for them, police reported.

Nazar M. Savitskyy, 25, of Highland Park, was issued a ticket for retail theft Friday, April 6, after he allegedly took three pairs of sunglasses worth $96.97 altogether from Marshall’s on Skokie Boulevard, according to police.

Stolen Fanny Pack at Trader Joe’s

A fanny pack was stolen from a shopping cart at Trader Joe’s when a man left it unattended for ten minutes Tuesday, April 3, police reported.

iPhone, Computer Stolen at Glenbrook North

Someone stole a notebook computer from a gym bag at Glenbrook North during a track meet Tuesday, April 3, police reported.

An iPhone 4 worth $200 was stolen from the Student Activity Center at Glenbrook North Wednesday, April 4, according to police.

Trespassing on Ferndale Avenue

Maria F. Kaczynska, 57, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after she allegedly knocked on the back door of a Ferndale Avenue home Monday, April 2, attempting to get in, police reported. While in custody, she fainted and was taken to Glenbrook Hospital.

Home On Bittersweet Gets TP’ed

Someone toilet papered the front yard of a home in the 800 block of Bittersweet Drive during the night of Thursday, April 5, police reported.

Vandal Punctures Tires on Waukegan Road

Someone punctured the tires of a vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Waukegan Road Thursday, April 5, police reported. One of the vehicle’s tires was previously punctured on March 3.

Graffiti at Wood Oaks Junior High

Someone sprayed graffiti on the display board of the playing field at Wood Oaks Junior High sometime during the past month, according to police.
