Car Stolen Near Downtown Northbrook

Someone stole a 2008 Toyota Camry parked on Cherry Lane, a few blocks from downtown Northbrook.

The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations, and not indications of guilt.

Vehicular Burglary

Police received a report on April 23 that someone cut the lock, entered a trailer and took two backpack blowers worth about $1,100.00 from a trailer on the 900 block of Willow Road.

Attempted Residential Burglary

On April 25, someone tried to enter a home on the 2300 block of Walters Avenue by pushing in the back door, but entry was not made, according to police.

Stolen Auto

On April 25, someone stole a grey, 2008, four door Toyota Camry, according to police. The car was stolen from the 900 block of Cherry Lane, police say.

Burglary

On April 25, a business on the 2100 block of Shermer Road reported a missing box, according to police.

That day, another business nearby reported someone entered via an unsecured door and took about $500 worth of various sizes of copper fittings, police say.

DUI

On April 25, police charged Lucinda Eddy-Gartner, 49, of Northbrook, with driving under the influence after someone reported Gartner hit a car while trying to park on the 1600 block of Shermer Road, police say.
