Chief Keef's Northbrook Home For Sale

The 5,200-square-foot home on Pfingsten Avenue in Northbrook went on the market for about $1.1 million a few days after the rapper entered drug rehab in California.

The 5,200-square-foot home on Pfingsten Avenue in Northbrook, that rapper Chief Keef was renting, went on the market for about $1.1 million a few days after he entered drug rehab in CaliforniaChicago Real Estate Daily reports. 

The landlord, Gheorghe Simoniak-Sas, sued to evict Chief Keef and collect $9,400 in unpaid rent, according to Chicago Real Estate Daily.

Judge Earl Hoffenberg sentenced the 18-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, to 90 days in drug rehab, and acknowledged that Cozart, who has been in trouble with the law numerous times for cannabis possession, traffic violations and disorderly conduct, is under a lot of pressure to support 40 people who depend on him, according to the Skokie Review.

Cozart was previously ordered to spend 20 days in jail after testing positive for marijuana on a court-ordered drug test, according to the Chicago Tribune. That drug test was the result of a speeding on the Edens in Northfield this spring when he was clocked traveling 110 mph in a 55 mph zone.
