Driving Without Headlights Leads to DUI Arrest

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest does not indicate guilt.

No headlights leads to DUI arrest

Veronica M. Arispe, 40, of Beach Park, FL was stopped for a traffic violation Feb. 22 at Dundee and Sanders roads. Officers determined she was driving under the influence of alcohol, police said. She was taken into custody for DUI and driving without headlights, released on $1,000 D-bond and given a March 19 court date.

Driving with a suspended license

Miguel Santoyo, 33, of Melrose Park, was stopped Feb. 22 at 4:15 a.m. at Willow and Landwehr roads for a traffic violation. Officers determined that his Illinois drivers license was suspended. He was taken into custody and released on $1,500 D-bond and given a March 12 court date.

Driving with suspended registration and license suspended                                                     

Evelia Martinez-Abarca, 54, of Mount Prospect, was stopped for a traffic violation Feb. 18 at 10:45 p.m. at Willow and Landwehr roads. Officers determined that the vehicle registration was suspended and the her license was suspended. The defendant was placed under arrest and released on $1,500 D-bond with a March 31 court date.
