Drug Possession at Traffic Stop
The following arrest information was supplied by the Northbrook Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Drug Possession
On July 9, an office stopped Ellion J. Rim, 22, of Northbrook for a traffic violation near Dundee Road and Ash Lane, and smelled marijuana coming from the car, police say. A search of the vehicle yielded a pill container containing cannabis and a glass pipe, and Rim admitted the items belonged to him, according to police. He was issued two citations and released at the scene.
DUI
On July 14, officers stopped Richard B. Shire, 38, of Northbrook for a traffic violation near Sanders and Dundee roads, and charged him for DUI, improper lane use and driving without insurance, according to police.
On July 13, officers stopped Leonid Fedin, 24, of Glenview, for a traffic violation on the 2300 block of Shermer Road, police say. He was charged with
DUI, driving through a safety zone, failure to signal and driving with no Insurance,according to police.
