Five Northbrook Teens Cited for Pot Possession

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Cannabis possession

Five teenagers from Northbrook were issued local ordinance violations for possession of cannabis after police say they found them in a parked car in the 2100 block Valencia Drive on Feb. 15 at 9 p.m. There were three 17-years-old boys and two-16-year old boys. They were each released to a parent and given a court date of March 13.

Francisco J. Marin, 19, of Woodridge, was stopped for a traffic violation Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. at Huehl Road and Commercial Avenue. Officers determined that his Illinois driver’s license was suspended. He was released on $1500 bond and given a March 12 court date.                                

Frederico Ramirez, 27, of Buffalo Grove, was stopped for a traffic violation Feb. 9 at 10:15 p.m. at Dundee and Sutton Drive. Officers determined that his Illinois driver’s license was suspended. He was released on $1500 bond and given a March 4 court date.

Desidero J. Ayala-Diaz, 55, of Prospect Heights, was involved in an auto accident Feb. 12 at 11:15 a.m. at Juniper and Dundee. Officers found that his Illinois driver’s license was suspended.  He was released on $1,500 bond and given a March 12 court date.
