On July 9, an office stopped Ellion J. Rim, 22, of Northbrook for a traffic violation near Dundee Road and Ash Lane, and smelled marijuana coming from the car, police say. A search of the vehicle yielded a pill container containing cannabis and a glass pipe, and Rim admitted the items belonged to him, according to police. He was issued two citations and released at the scene.
