Highwood Man Killed in Northbrook Car Crash

A Highwood man was killed last Thursday in a multiple-vehicle car crash at the corner of Skokie Boulevard and Dundee Road in Northbrook.

A Highwood man was killed last Thursday in a multiple-vehicle car crash at the corner of Skokie Boulevard and Dundee Road in Northbrook, the Chicago Tribune reports.

The Northbrook Fire Department responded to a four vehicle crash with one car on its side, according to deputy fire chief Tim Smeltzer.

Hector Esquivel, a 23-year-old from the 200 block of Greenbay Road in Highwood, was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash at 3:40 p.m., according to the Tribune.

According to Smeltzer, Esquivel was not in the car on its side.
