A Skokie man was arrested for throwing a rock through a glass window of a Skokie pizza parlor. He did not take any money as the cash register was empty.

Key Suspect

A man test drove a Mustang from a Niles car dealership. The sales associate asked him for his name, but not a photo ID card. After returning from the test drive, the man went to the restroom with the vehicle key in his possession. He returned to the salesperson, give him a key, told him he needed time to think about the car, and left. That night, he returned to the dealership and drove the car off the lot, police say.The staff realized he may have switched keys and given a different Ford key back to the salesperson.
