Minors Buy Porn At 7-Eleven; Two Store Employees Arrested

Police charged two 7-Eleven employees with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and distributing harmful material.

Two employees were arrested after they allegedly sold pornographic magazines to minors, according to police.

While investigating a report of suspicious activity at the 7-Eleven on Shermer Road Friday, May 27, an officer found two minors outside the store with pornographic magazines they had bought inside, according to police.

Officers took the minors to the police station and released them to their parents. They arrested two employees, Rajendra Patel, 35, and Atulkumar Patel, 21, both of Des Plaines, and charged them with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and distributing harmful material, police reported.
