No Injuries In $100K Brentwood Road Fire

Northbrook firefighters extinguished the basement fire the day after Thanksgiving.

The following fire report was provided by the Village of Northbrook weekly staff memo.

On Friday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 p.m., Northbrook firefighters extinguished a basement in the furnace room of a house on the 2100 block of Brentwood Road. There were no injuries.

The damage is estimated to be around $100,000. Northbrook received mutual aid assistance from the Glenview, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, North Main and Highwood Fire Departments.

In addition to the house fire there were also three unrelated ambulance calls at the same time.
