North Shore DUI Roundup: Jan. 11-17 Edition

DUI arrests as published in North Shore Patch sites in the past week.

EVANSTON

Marc Andre Jenkins, 42, of the 100 block of Asbury Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the 100 block of Custer Avenue, police reported.

Dexter R. Roknich, 26, of the 1400 block of Webster Lane in Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 8:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police.

Francis A. Nottoli, 28, of the 8100 block of Karlov in Skokie, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 2:51 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Dempster Street and Ridge Avenue, police reported.

NORTHBROOK

On Jan. 12, an officer saw a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations while traveling westbound on Dundee Road, according to police. The car was stopped and the officer saw a weapon in the vehicle's glove box while the driver reached for insurance, police say. The officer arrested Samuel Sanchez, 50, of Glencoe and charged him with unlawful use of a weapon, DUI, driving without insurance and four counts of improper lane usage.

BUFFALO GROVE

Forest D. Macenzie, 23, of the 12000 block of Jacob, Hebron, was charged with driving under the influence, illegal lane use and driving without insurance at 12:07 a.m. Jan. 14 on Dundee Road at Golf.

HIGHLAND PARK

Eusebio Rogel-Figueroa, 25, of Waukegan was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempt possession of a controlled substance, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and will appear in .Lake County Court Feb. 21 in Waukegan.

LAKE BLUFF

Susan K. Gross, 60, of the 1300 block of Ceape Ave., Osh Kosh, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and improper lane use at 3:29 p.m. Jan. 11 after police responded to a one-car accident on northbound Route 41 near Route 176. She was transported to Lake Forest Hospital due to minor injuries. Her court date is Feb. 14 at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.

LAKE FOREST

Timothy J. Lamphear, 37, of 9611 W. Hampton, Milwaukee, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, improper lane usage and following too closely at 4:40 a.m. Jan. 10 on Route 41 at Old Elm Road. Lamphear failed field sobriety testing and suspected cannabis and a smoking pipe were found in his car. He was released on a $3,000 bond and given a Jan. 28 court date at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan.
