Northbrook Blotter: Northfield Man Arrested for Stealing Cell Phones

Felony Cell Phone Theft
On Sept. 4, police say they arrested Jimmie Collins, 23, of Northfield, for stealing cell phones on the 2500 block of Shermer Rd. Collins was charged with felony theft, according to police.

iPhone Theft
On Sept. 24, police say three subjects were observed looking at iPhones by staff at the Apple Store in Northbrook Court. Minutes later, an alarm sounded, the three subjects were gone and an iPhone 5 worth about $600 was missing, according to police.

Soliciting Without a Permit
On Sept. 28, on the 3500 block of Dundee Rd., Northbrook police say they arrested two Wheeling men, Ronnie Gill, 38, and Nicholas Adams, 21, for soliciting without a permit after they were observed doing car repairs in a parking lot.
