Northbrook Couple Charged With Stealing Elderly Relative's Identity

Police allege they wrote checks from an older woman's bank account without her permission.

A Northbrook couple was arrested and charged with identity theft after they allegedly wrote checks from the account of an elderly relative.

According to the Daily Herald, Linda J. and Howard M. Horn, both 58, allegedly registered for online access to the older woman's account, then wrote unauthorized checks.
