Northbrook, Glenview Runners in Boston Marathon

Several runners from Northbrook and Glenview finished the race; a few more started the race but did not cross the finish line.

Two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon today, killing three and injuring as many as 140, with many amputations of limbs required for the injured. 

Among the Northbrook runners, Boston Marathon records show Brendan Boyer finished the race in 3:12:01 in 3917th place overall; Molly Buckley finished in 3:39:01 in 9421st place; Steven Katz finished in 3:25:24 in 5675th place; Jolene Moore finished in 3:47:39 in 12315th place; Jenny Neal finished in 4:06:31 in 16856th place.

According to marathon records, Molly Keelan reached the halfway point in 2:02:21 but did not reach the finish line. Christopher Basten was also in the race, but records do not show and results information.

Among the Glenview runners, John Critchley finished in 3:08:11 in 2782nd place; Natalie Critchley finished in 3:40:21 in 9908th place; Timothy Dorner finished in 3:52:29 in 14134th place place; Laura Jortberg finished in 3:35:20 in 9207th place; Megan Levin finished in 3:31:49 in 7857th place.

According to marathon records, Kielo Sauvala reached the halfway mark at 1:56:06th place, but did not finish. Joe Haffner and David Houser were registed for the race, but no results information is available.
