Northbrook Mom Ticketed For Daughter's Party

The following arrest information was supplied by the Northbrook Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Underage Drinking Party

On July 29, officers were dispatched to a report of a loud party with where 100 kids were said to be in the backyard, according to police. Upon arrival, officers found the homeowner standing at the end of the driveway, and she told officers she was aware of her daughter's birthday party, and that underage people were probably drinking, police say.

Officers on the scene saw a large number of subjects fleeing the backyard over the fences, according to police. Officers cited a few teens with consumption of alcohol by minor, and Maureen Deegan, 52, of Northbrook, was cited for violation of parental responsibility, police say.

Burglary

On July 30, a resident of the 2400 block of Ridge Road returned home to find her rear patio door had been pried off, placed in the back yard and all the rooms in the house ransacked, according to police. Jewelry, money and gift cards were reported stolen, police say.
