Northbrook Police Earned $2,000 at Auction

Northbrook police recently held its annual auction of confiscated and found property.

There were no high-end art or estate jewelry at Northbrook Police Department’s annual auction of confiscated and found property, but attendees walked away happy with deals on bikes, Coach wallets and a motorized scooter, Chicago Tribune reported.

The auction earned about $2,000 for the village’s general fund and bargain-seeker Kelly Cain, of Arlington Heigts, says she picked up three bikes for $225, which she normally would have had to pay $1,000 at stores, Chicago Tribune reported.
