Pasted Fake ID Leads to Felony Theft Charges

The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not guarantee guilt.

Felony Theft
On Dec. 16, officers arrested Bonnie G. Williams, 57, of Chicago, for felony identity theft after she tried to use a stolen credit card at a store on the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road, according to police. Officers were notified when Williams provided a driver's license on which her face was pasted onto the theft victim's face, police say. The theft victim told officers she did not realize her wallet and ID were stolen, police say. 

DUI
On Dec. 22, officers stopped David Sandroian, 31, of Park Ridge, for a traffic violation near Shermer and Lee roads, and discovered he was DUI, according to police. He was charged with DUI, speeding, improper lane usage, no front license plate and failure to notify of address change, police say. 

Suspended License
On Dec. 20, officers responded to an auto accident on the 100 block of Skokie Highway, and discovered one of the people involved in the accident had a suspended license, according to police. Officers arrested Gzim Papraniku, 44, of Highland Park, for driving without a valid license, no insurance and driving while license is suspended, police say.
