Police Charge Northbrook Woman Who Crashed Into 7-Eleven With DUI

Police arrested a Northbrook woman after she crashed her car through the front window of the 7-Eleven on Monday, Sept. 27.

According to police, Beth Wittrock, 57, of Northbrook, was arrested for driving under the influence after she crashed her car through the front windows of the 7-Eleven at 1512 Shermer Rd. Sept. 27. 

When police arrived on the scene around 6 p.m. they determined that Wittrock was driving under the influence and transported her to Glenbrook Hospital to be treated for injuries.

The 7-Eleven store was shut down for less than an hour after the crash, according to manager Raj Patel, and the company will pay for damages.
