Police: Northbrook Employee Racked Up $50,000 In Credit Card Fraud

Police arrested a Chicago woman who was employed by Northbrook-based Paramount Staffing.

Police arrested a Chicago woman Friday on charges that she racked up more than $50,000 in fraudulent credit card charges while employed at a Northbrook business.

Susan A. Stephens, 48, was charged with theft, two counts of unlawful use of a credit card and forgery, according to police.

While employed at Paramount Staffing, 1200 Shermer Road, Stephens allegedly charged $53,494.81 unlawfully between January 2008 and July 2011.

Paramount Staffing supplies staff members for industrial operations around the country. The company maintains its corporate headquarters in Northbrook and has additional offices in Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas and Texas.
