Residents Report Vehicular Lawn Damage
Two Northbrook residents near each other reported tire damage caused by an unknown vehicle to their yards.
The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.
Lawn Damage
On May 17, a resident reported his lawn on the 2600 block of Shannon Road was damaged by an unknown vehicle, according to police.

That day, someone on the 1000 block Woodbine Lane, around the corner from Shannon, reported similar lawn damage, police say.
Burglary

On May 13, a construction company employee reported a trailer on the 100 block of Sanders Road had been entered when a lock was cut and three rolls of copper tubing and a Honda water pump were stolen, according to police.
Theft
Someone on the 2300 block of Shermer Road reported a forklift had gone missing, according to police.
Retail Theft
On May 13, officers charged Azam Mirza, 64, of Northbrook, with retail theft, according to police. Mirza was ticketed on the 100 block of Skokie Highway after attempting to leave the store without paying for $94.00 in merchandise, according to police.
DUI
On May 13, officers charged Eric Geiger, 31, of Northbrook, with DUI and driving with an unsafe tire, according to police. He was stopped when officers saw him driving with a deflated tire, police say.
Vehicular Burglary
On May 15, someone reported a backpack was removed from the backseat of an unlocked Honda parked on the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road, according to police.
