Road Rage Leads to Battery, DUI Charges
A Northbrook man was arrested after getting upset when someone wouldn't turn right on a red light.
The following reports were provided by the Northbrook Police Department. Arrests and charges are accusations and do not indicate guilt.
Battery
On April 4, dispatch received a 911 call about a possible traffic altercation near Landwehr Road and Concord Court, according to police. Responding officers found a victim on Concord who accused Bradley Cooke, 53, of Northbrook, of getting upset when the victim would not turn right on a red, police say.

Cooke may have then cut off the victim, got out of his car and started pushing and swearing at the victim, according to police. Officers determined Cooke had been driving under the influence on a suspended driver's license, he was charged and released, police say.
DUI

On April 7, police stopped Christy Rivera, 28, of Northbrook, near Dundee and Waukegan roads for a traffic violation, according to police. Officers determined she was DUI and charged her with two counts of improper lane usage and driving under the influence, police say.
Retail Theft
On April 7, Christina Reddington, 35, of Glenview, was charged with retail theft after Whole Foods security caught her taking items worth about about $231.00, according to police.
Burglary
On April 3, police took two reports of at least three storage containers on the 1900 block of Willow Road reported had been entered despite being previously locked, according to police.
Retail Theft
On April 5, an employee of Nordstrom Rack noticed a repeat offender enter the store, put a barrette worth about $5.00 in her hair and walk past the register, according to police. Responding officers issued Susanna Sehter, 42, of Northbrook was issued a local ordinance citation for retail theft, police say.
