Teen Uses Counterfeit Bill at Victoria's Secret

Several Jeeps also had tires stolen in this edition of the Northbrook police blotter.

Counterfeit bill

Court security related that a teenager left behind a counterfeit bill at 5:30 p.m. April 26 when attempting to make a purchase from Victoria’s Secret at Northbrook Court. He was described as a black male with short dreadlocks, approximately 15 years old and wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. He was accompanied by two females. The call was delayed an hour and the subject was not able to be located.        

Suspended registration, expired license

Gina F. Esposito, 44, of Long Grove, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 2000 block of Waukegan at noon April 27. Officers learned that the vehicle’s registration was suspended and that her driver’s license was expired.  The defendant was placed under arrest.  Esposito was released on $3,000 bond with a May 22 court date.

Someone removed spare tires from several Jeep Wranglers in a lot in the 900 block of Skokie Highway. It’s not known when the thefts occurred.
