Traffic Violation Leads to Arrest

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a convication.

Retail theft                                       

The store’s loss prevention agent observed Juan B. Dominicci, 43, of Chicago, conceal $649.00 in products and leave the last point of sale at a business in the 800 block of Willow Rd on Feb. 2, according to police reports. He was taken into custody and transported to the police department where he was charged with retail theft and released on a $1,500 D-bond with a Feb. 21 court date.          

Suspended drivers license

Margaret Kioussis, 40, of Crystal Lake, was stopped for a traffic violation at 12:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at Dundee and Lee roads. Officers determined that the defendants Illinois driver’s license was suspended, police said. She was placed under arrest, transported to the police department, and charged with driving with a suspended license, speeding and failure to change her address. She was released a $1,500 I-bond and given a March 4 court date.

The rear passenger side window on a black VW Rabbit was damaged in the 1300 block of Shermer Rd Feb. 2. The vehicle was parked in the rear lot of business.
