Northbrook Launches Village Service Request App

GO Request, an online and smartphone program, makes it easier to contact Village departments for service requests, questions, complaints and compliments.

can now file local service requests online or with an app using a new service called GO Request.

The GO Request function can be found on the Village website under the How Do I? to Report a Problem tabs. The free app is available for iPhone and Android phones

According to the Village, this service is designed to help residents reach the correct department for an inquiry. GO Request includes 27 categories of service, from animal control to water billing, with varying subcategories for specific inquiries.

GO Request also creates a unique tracking number to monitor the status of inquiries and automatically notifies users when an inquiry is completed.

Service requests can still be made by calling the Village at (847) 272-5050 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Residents should still dial 9-1-1 for emergencies.

What a great idea!!! I have had quite a few questions over the past couple of weeks, and while the staff members have been quick and efficient, I didn't know if I was contacting the right person.
