Northbrook Marks National Night Out with Community Celebration

The Aug. 5 event is held to promote partnerships between village officials, police and the community.

The following is from the Village of Northbrook:

On Tuesday, August 5, from 6-9pm all are invited to join the Northbrook Police, the Northbrook Park District and the citizens of Northbrook in celebrating the at Meadowhill Aquatic Center, Waukegan and Maple. Stop by to meet Northbrook’s Police Chief and other Village and Park District officials.11th Annual National Night Out

This free event includes DJ entertainment, hot dogs and drinks and fun for all. Enjoy games, raffles and use of the pool, in addition to crime prevention information from the Northbrook Police Department. Bring your family and friends for an evening at the pool. Jeffrey’s Climbing Tower will be open for demonstrations. Have some fun dunking Northbrook’s Finest as they taunt you from the Dunk Tank! Musical entertainment will be provided by Charisma.

National Night Out is a community event designed to promote the partnership between the Village officials and staff, the Northbrook Police, the Northbrook Park District and the community and to share information and ideas about crime prevention and public safety.
