Northbrook’s trustees voted this week to supply $4.9 million in public funds to the Northshore 770 mixed-use development at 770 Skokie Boulevard, according to an article in TribLocal.

The development would house a Mariano’s and several restaurants, as well as retail and residential space.

The development is expected to generate $900,000 in sales taxes annually and increase the property’s value substantially, the article states.
