Luxury Home Sales Increase In Northbrook, North Shore

Northbrook was named in a recent Crain's Chicago Business list highlighting the growth in luxury home sales across the North Shore. 

Though only four homes were bought for at least $1.5 million in Northbrook this year, that's still a 33 percent increase over last year, according to Chicago Real Estate Daily. Winnetka was at the top of the North Shore list with 62 luxury homes sold.

Practically every North Shore community saw a rise in luxury home sales this year, and the entire Chicago area saw a 22 percent bump in homes sold for at least $1.5 million, Chicago Real Estate Daily reports.
