In order to shine a light on the major reform challenges facing the next Illinois governor,Reboot Illinois joined with the Better Government Association in asking the candidates running in the March 18 Primary Election, to respond to our joint questionnaire.
All six of the current candidates (from the two major parties) responded to the questionnaire, which consists of 10 “yes or no” questions and four short essay questions. As you’ll see, some candidates would not answer the “yes or no” questions. Our questionnaire focuses primarily on several key “reform” topics we believe are of critical interest to citizens.

By responding to the 2014 Reboot Illinois/BGA Governor Candidate Questionnaire, the six major gubernatorial hopefuls contribute to a robust exchange of ideas about the key challenges Illinoisans face and must address. We encourage you to review all the responses and we hope our questionnaire helps you to make a more informed choice for governor.
