Facelift or Filler: Which is Right for You? Presented by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Michael A. Epstein

Hosted by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Michael A. Epstein, MD, FACS, in his Northbrook office suites, the “Facelift or Filler” presentation will explain surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation options, how they are performed, the unique differences between a facelift and a filler, and the beautiful, natural results that can be achieved with each.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, close to 113,000 facelifts were performed nationwide in 2010.  During the same year, nearly 1.8 million filler procedures were performed (including using two of the most popular wrinkle fillers, Juvederm and Radiesse, which are both offered at Dr. Epstein’s office).      

“Within the past few years, my office has seen a considerable increase in the number of facelift inquiries, consultations and surgeries,” explains Dr. Epstein, founder of Northbrook Plastic Surgery and Transcend Med Spa. “Many of whom are women in their 50’s, which I believe is a growing trend,” he adds.

 “We’ve also seen a dramatic increase in the number of patients opting for “liquid facelifts,” which are non-surgical, and involve the use of fillers, as well as Botox,” he says.  “My upcoming presentation is designed to address the benefits of facelifts and fillers, explain the differences, and guide those who are considering one or the other to make an educated decision as to which is right for them. There will also be plenty of time for questions and answers from those who attend, and an opportunity to view numerous “Before and After” photos.
