Northbrook School District 27's Community Tour of the Schools

District 27 officials are inviting members of the community to visit the district’s three schools on Oct. 26 to see how their tax dollars are being spent. The Community Tour of the Schools will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at each of the district’s three schools: Hickory Point (grades K-2) at 500 Laburnum Drive; Shabonee (grades 3-5) at 1000 Pfingsten Road; and Wood Oaks (grades 6-8) at 1250 Sanders Road. Residents are invited to stop by one, two or all three schools during that time. Board members, administrators and PTA representatives will be on hand to act as tour guides and answer questions. “We are pleased that the District could invest in the renovation of our schools to make them valuable assets for the community for years to come,” said Superintendent David J. Kroeze. “I applaud the Boards of Education over the years for their foresight in venturing on this journey to add value to our entire community.”
