T-H-E CENTER (TUTORING, HOMEWORK, EDUCATORS) OPENS IN HIGHLAND PARK PROVIDING THE PERFECT STUDY ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS AND TUTORS

Open house “meet & greet the ACT tutors’ scheduled September 11th, 3:30-6:30pm, Offering free ACT analysis testing

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (SEPTEMBER 2012) – T-H-E (Tutoring, Homework, Educators) Center of Highland Park is unlike the average big box tutoring facility.  Centrally located to North Shore School District schools, on the lower level of the Highland Park Community House, 1991 Sheridan Road,
T-H-E Center offers a comfortable learning environment for students to meet with their tutors.  Boasting a roster of top-notch, professional tutors that range in expertise from elementary school to college preparation to English as a second language, French, Spanish and other foreign languages any student’s educational needs can be met under one roof – at affordable prices.

“T-H-E Center offers an ideal environment where tutors don’t have to drive all over town to meet with their students in locations that may not be conducive to studying,” says Daniel Blank, founder.  “And students are matched with the best tutors on the North Shore.”  T-H-E Center’s programs provide targeted learning when and where students need it the most.

Opening just in time for the start of school and the beginning of college entry exam preparation season, T-H-E Center invites the public to an open house ‘meet & greet the tutors’ with a focus on their one-of-a-kind ACT study program.  On September 11th from 3:30-6:30pm, T-H-E Center is offering complimentary ACT diagnostic testing, valued at $55, to analyze the areas that students may need additional ACT tutoring support.

“For most teenagers, the ACT is an inevitable right of passage in preparing for life after high school,” says Blank.  “T-H-E Center of Highland Park provides an ACT tutoring program that is focused on each students test analysis result, to set them on the right track for their future.”

T-H-E Center believes that spending thousands of dollars on generalized ACT test preparation is a waste of money. “Your students should already have a basic foundation in all of the ACT test areas,” says Blank. “Why make them spend hours on test preparation in areas they already excel?”

T-H-E Center allows students to skip test preparation in the areas they excel, and enables them to focus on the areas where they need to build.  T-H-E Centers ACT program is a three or six-week course that meet once a week for 2.5 hours and when purchasing the full three or six-week plans, the sessions add up to about $26 an hour.

“We understand that many high school juniors and seniors (and their parents!) fear the ACT exams, and we want to take that anxiety away by offering the most beneficial and targeted ways to prepare,” says Blank.  “There are many ACT test preparation courses and training systems available to students, but it’s T-H-E Center that will offer the greatest return.”

Remaining ACT test taking dates in 2012 are as follows: September 8, October 27 and December 8. For 2013: February 9, April 13 and June 8.  A 36 is the highest one can score, with 21.1 as the average.
